    Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berfokus pada publikasi hasil penelitian, kajian literatur, dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Nama TRIAS diambil dari konsep Trias Epidemiologi yang menggambarkan interaksi antara host (manusia), agent (penyebab penyakit), dan environment (lingkungan) sebagai dasar dalam memahami berbagai permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat. Konsep ini menjadi landasan penting dalam upaya promotif, preventif, kuratif, dan rehabilitatif untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Perkembangan permasalahan kesehatan global dan nasional yang semakin kompleks, seperti penyakit menular, penyakit tidak menular, perubahan iklim, kesehatan lingkungan, keselamatan kerja, serta tantangan sistem pelayanan kesehatan, menuntut adanya pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan berbasis bukti (evidence-based public health). Oleh karena itu, diperlukan wadah publikasi ilmiah yang mampu menjembatani hasil penelitian akademisi, praktisi, peneliti, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk menghasilkan solusi yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan.
