MARTABE: Journal of Community Development and Empowerment is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality articles on community service, community empowerment, and sustainable community development. The name MARTABE is derived from the Batak philosophy Marsipature Hutana Be, which means building one's homeland together. This philosophy reflects the values of collaboration, mutual cooperation, and community empowerment as essential foundations for improving people's quality of life and promoting social well-being.

As societies continue to evolve in response to rapid social, economic, technological, and environmental changes, there is an increasing need for innovative, evidence-based solutions that can be directly implemented to address community challenges.
